Most business opportunities tend to focus on money and success stories.
Now, before you jump into anything…Just think about this carefully for a minute...You know the times when those lovely shiny objects are being dangled in front of your eyes, they are there to distract you, and you're so tempted to jump right in....?
Just take a minute and ask yourself...Do you honestly believe that you can:
Make money with zero investment, time, or energy?
Make money legally without selling a product or service?
Make a crazy amount literally overnight without lifting a finger?
I don't think so!
Often if things seem a little too good to be true, they usually are. There are so many of these wild offers out there.
What Do You Want In Life?
So, no matter your present situation, you need to look beyond the NOW and decide what it is you ultimately want to achieve.
For example, you’re drowning in debt, and you don't see light at the end of the tunnel, and the debt collectors have started calling.
Your immediate response might be: "I want them to go away. I want to be in a position where I can clear my debt.”
You need to look beyond that.
You want financial stability and security so you can do what ultimately makes you happy! And that can be anything from having the freedom to work when you want, go on holiday when you want, or give back to the community…
Whatever it is, you need to be looking at the long-term goal, not the immediate quick fix. Because nothing is going to happen overnight!
Yes, you want to be your own boss, schedule your own time, and take control of your hours and income, but maybe you also want to work with others who will train you to be just as successful as they are.
Do you want to market online, sell, host parties, take orders, deliver products, handle stocking, inventory, or money collecting?
Or do you want to work with brands where you get your own website, sell the product or service, grow your team to make residual income, no need to hold stock or deal with shipping, and make money on your Social Media platforms?
Do you want to work independently, or do you want to work closely with others?
Are you self-motivated?
Will you be content sitting alone in your home office day in and day out?
Will you miss the camaraderie of conversations around the water cooler or over lunch?
What I’m trying to say is that you need to look beyond the lure of the “quick buck" and pay attention to the details of what you will be doing every day in any online business.
I started my online business in 2005, and I promise you, there is NO SUCH THING AS GET RICH QUICK!!! Everything takes effort, time, and patience, and above all...you have to show up and be consistent.
You also have to be willing and prepared to invest in yourself if you want to grow within yourself and your business.
I have been in the Network Marketing space since 2012. There's been a whole lot of ups and downs. Some companies I've joined have worked really well, and some didn’t.
It's the same with companies I'm affiliated with.
Not everyone is going to fit into every niche.
But you must start somewhere and figure out what bests suits you as you move along.
You have to look at what interests you, whether it’s products or services, and go from there.
Do you love to get creative and make things?
Are you a Fitness junkie or an Activewear Addict?
Do you love Health & Wellness?
Are you interested in selling Digital Products?
Maybe what you are looking for is what is called the intellectual distribution business. It's the next trillion-dollar industry. It’s about educating consumers about products and services that will improve their lives. Products they didn't even know existed; safer, healthier, more convenient alternatives to products and services they already need and use daily; it’s about wholesale prices, ordering online or on the phone, and deliveries right to their door.
It would make sense to want a simple done-for-you plug-in and play system that would be easy enough for beginners to understand. Even if you know nothing about personal websites, going live online, or how to identify prospects interested in your products or services, you want to be successful and to have those tools and talents at your disposal.
